Before the new musical Kinky Boots parades into Chicago for its world premiere production this October, stars Stark Sands, Billy Porter and Annaleigh Ashford joined the creative team (Cyndi Lauper, Harvey Fierstein and Jerry Mitchell) for a sleek and sexy photo shoot. In the musical, which begins performances in New York on March 5, 2013, at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre, Sands plays a shoe factory owner whose business becomes revitalized after meeting drag performer Lola (Porter). Here Sands poses with his onstage love interest Ashford, while Porter shows fans what a kinky boot is all about.
